Keith V. Allan

Keith Allan has a BEng Hons degree in Metallurgy and Materials Science from Liverpool and spent 14 years in the mining industry in both technical and managerial capacity for various multinational mining groups (Anglo American, De Beers, Bridge Oil). This included assignments in South Africa, Angola, Guinea Conakry and Portugal, working with coal, diamonds, wolfram, copper, tin and zinc. After gaining an MBA in International Business, (his thesis was about the global sugar industry) he has spent the last 8 years working in the financial markets, was a founder member of the Espirito Santo Financial Consultants (part of the Espirito Santo Group) and has lately been an active independent investor in world stock markets.
